Medical Information Specialist II, RN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Process and document Medical Information Requests, Adverse Events, and Product Quality Complaints while adhering to company, client, and federal guidelines and regulations.

• Gather demographic data and manage dispositions for product, sample, and literature fulfillment.

• Maintain established quality and productivity standards; follow program scripts and guidelines diligently.

• Accurately collect and input required information into program databases.

• Demonstrate effective communication and tele-management skills.

• Engage empathetically with callers and assist them in understanding medical terminology as necessary.

• Execute administrative and non-telecommunication tasks as required.

• Comply with company policies and Standard Operating Procedures.

• Manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Update and submit your resume as requested during audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid US healthcare professional license: RN.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and listening communication skills.

• Ability to participate in frequent meetings and calls without interruptions or disconnections.

• Strong proficiency in computer navigation and data entry while engaging with customers.

• Friendly telephone demeanor.

• Preferred experience in a Contact Center or non-clinical healthcare setting.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Results-driven with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

• Must protect patient privacy and confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.
