Medical Imaging Field Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.

📋 Description

• Service XP/AX Imaging Equipment in the Fargo, North Dakota region.

• Install, service, maintain, and modify Siemens’ imaging equipment at client locations.

• Provide prompt and effective repair solutions.

• Educate operators to ensure peak system performance and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Oversee financial performance within the designated territory, focusing on revenue generation, expense management, and inventory control.

• Manage company resources, including a vehicle, mobile phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.

• Build and sustain professional relationships with customers and colleagues.

• Accurately carry out necessary administrative responsibilities.

• Provide service from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM following onboarding and training.

• Engage in an on-call rotation post training and certification.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma, Technical Degree, or equivalent experience is required.

• 1-2+ years of field service experience is preferred.

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in servicing, conducting preventative maintenance, and modifying Medical Imaging Equipment at customer locations with minimal supervision.

• Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.

• Proficient with tools and service testing equipment.

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Willingness to travel and provide service within the assigned geographical area.

• Commitment to participate in an on-call rotation after completion of training and certification.

• A valid driver's license, with the ability to drive independently at all hours, and a clean driving record are required.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical activities such as walking, climbing, bending, twisting, squatting, standing, reaching high, and fine grasping manipulation.

• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of residence and comply with Fleet Safety Policy requirements, including no prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending charges, or other serious moving violations unless legally exempt.

• Must fulfill applicable client Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may involve identification verification, criminal background checks, drug testing, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training.

• Must be able to operate controlled technology in compliance with US export control laws.
