This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Provide service for Medical Imaging Equipment in the Kansas City, MO region.
• Install, maintain, service, and modify Siemens’ imaging equipment at client locations.
• Act as the customer-facing representative, embodying the "Face of Siemens."
• Support diagnostic modalities, with opportunities for cross-training into additional modalities.
• Work various shifts and participate in on-call rotations as required by business demands.
• Be available for overtime as needed, with prior notification for shift changes.
• Report directly to the Regional Service Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions.
• Conduct service, preventative maintenance, and modifications with minimal oversight.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Complete necessary administrative tasks promptly and accurately.
• A minimum of a high school diploma; a technical Associates Degree or equivalent is preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
• Knowledge and experience in servicing, preventative maintenance, and modifications of Medical Imaging Equipment at client sites with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience with desired Diagnostics Imaging Equipment.
• Capability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Capacity to perform required administrative tasks timely and accurately.
• Strong background in electronics.
• Proficiency in using service tools and service test equipment.
• Strong PC skills, including familiarity with MS Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.).
• Proficient in necessary network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, and the NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools.
• Ability to locate, read, and understand installation, setup, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams, and functional description documents.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
• A valid driver's license and capacity to drive independently during day and night hours.
• Clean driving record.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
• No prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other serious moving violations, unless restricted by applicable state/local law.
• Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs and occasionally over 50 lbs.
• Capability to perform walking, climbing ladders/stepstools, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reaching, and fine grasping/manipulation.
• Good vision and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work with controlled technology in compliance with US export control laws.
