Medical Data Review Manager – Rheumatology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Evaluate structured clinical patient data output without direct access to medical records to confirm medical plausibility, adherence to protocols, completeness, and readiness for subsequent review stages.

• Detect discrepancies in patient-reported data that necessitate further inquiry with clinical sites.

• Assess inclusion and exclusion criteria for the acceptance of clinical trial patients.

• Examine investigational product dosing records for compliance with protocols and identify any inaccuracies or missed dosages.

• Analyze Adverse Events, Concomitant Medication, and medical history data for completeness, plausibility, supporting information, and adherence to protocols.

• Ensure proper documentation of end-of-treatment and end-of-study information.

• Review laboratory results for completeness, adherence to protocol schedules, and identification of any potentially unreported safety issues.

• Evaluate additional information as necessary to ascertain readiness for the next level of review.

• Collaborate with Medical Review staff to verify information and address data issues or action items.

• Participate in kick-off meetings, weekly team meetings, and client meetings as needed or upon request.

⛳️ Requirements

• Specialization in Rheumatology, certification required (mandatory).

• Bachelor's Degree in Medicine, with graduation and specialization in Rheumatology (mandatory; only physicians will be considered).

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in clinical research at the research site level or within CRO/Pharmaceutical companies.

• Experience as a Sub-Investigator or Principal Investigator is regarded as relevant.

• Proficient in English with strong communication skills.

• Familiarity with clinical/medical data pertaining to clinical trials.

• Knowledgeable in Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, Anatomy, and Physiology.

• Exceptional motivational, influencing, and coaching abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

• Strong customer focus skills.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
