This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Execute collections for inpatient Workers Compensation claims.
β’ Oversee accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding amounts from payors and third parties.
β’ Perform timely collections and third-party follow-ups in line with CBO policies.
β’ Offer support to designated facilities and assist other facilities upon request.
β’ Address inquiries promptly.
β’ Uphold customer service standards through polite, empathetic, and positive communication.
β’ Comply with relevant policies, procedures, compliance standards, and confidentiality obligations.
β’ Advocate for the Mission and Vision of Post Acute Medical.
β’ Must reside in or around San Antonio, Texas.
β’ Previous collections experience is mandatory.
β’ Prior knowledge in billing and collections for Workers Compensation claims is preferred.
β’ Experience with Workers Compensation is advantageous but not essential.
β’ Familiarity with payment posting, medical collections, medical billing, Medicaid, revenue cycle, accounts receivable, insurance follow-up, and collection calls.
β’ Proficient data entry and customer service abilities.
β’ Understanding of ICD-10 and medical terminology.
β’ Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.
β’ Capacity to adhere to compliance standards and maintain confidentiality.
β’ Intermediate-level experience required.
