Medicaid Eligibility Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and prequalify a significant number of potential Medicaid and waiver applicants.

• Comprehend and clarify DHS eligibility guidelines, requirements, and approval procedures.

• Assist qualified candidates in accurately completing applications and gathering necessary documentation.

• Identify possible eligibility obstacles and support applicants in overcoming them.

• Track application status, deadlines, information requests, and eligibility outcomes in state systems.

• Maintain precise records for applicants, including statuses, notes, and follow-up actions.

• Provide assistance to applicants facing delays, denials, or loss of eligibility.

• Liaise with applicants, families, DHS representatives, and internal teams.

• Oversee hundreds of prospective and current applicants at various stages of the process.

• Act as a bridge between the public and the Arkansas Department of Human Services.

• Guide prospective clients through Arkansas Medicaid and waiver programs.

• Capable of working independently while maintaining accurate documentation.

• Regular working hours in CST.

• Part-time availability with the possibility of transitioning to full-time.
