This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, create, maintain, and support intricate batch processing applications within Linux and Unix environments.

• Provide technical guidance, mentor developers, lead solution design, conduct code reviews, and support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Work collaboratively with business analysts, architects, quality assurance teams, and stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application and database issues utilizing SQL Server and/or Oracle.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective measures to enhance system performance and stability.

• Assist in change management, release planning, production deployments, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Propel modernization efforts through automation, cloud technologies, and best practices in DevOps.

• Contribute to Medicaid healthcare systems, encompassing claims processing, reference systems, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), Drug Rebate, ProdDur, and batch processing environments.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and support materials.

• Engage in release planning, deployment activities, and the adoption of contemporary development practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in application development, technical leadership, and batch programming utilizing C, Unix, and Linux.

• Familiarity with system integration, automation, XML, and scripting.

• More than 5 years of experience in leading technical teams, mentoring developers, and supporting all phases of the SDLC in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Over 5 years of experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle, including database querying, data analysis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.

• Experience with change management, release planning, production deployments, and cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and project management capabilities.

• Preferred experience in supporting Medicaid healthcare systems, including Claims/Reference, PBM, batch processing environments, interChange, Drug Rebate, ProdDur, and other regulated healthcare applications.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs and travel as necessary.

• Video cameras must be utilized during all interviews and the initial week of orientation.
