This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the daily financial management of client media investments across various channels such as television, radio, out-of-home, digital, and more.
• Act as a financial liaison among Media, Client Finance, and Agency Accounting teams.
• Ensure accurate billing for client media services.
• Reconcile vendor invoices and facilitate their corresponding payments.
• Maintain reporting on budget versus actual expenditures.
• Monitor unbilled media costs for month-end accruals.
• Serve as the finance contact for Media Planning and Buying teams.
• Oversee accounts payable for processing vendor invoices and resolving discrepancies.
• Participate in regular financial meetings and provide updates on account finances.
• Highlight risks related to budgets, billing delays, unreconciled balances, and process control challenges.
• Assist with internal, client, and external audit requests.
• Generate recurring reports comparing budget versus actual figures for Media and Finance leadership.
• Reconcile vendor invoices with executed media activities.
• Investigate discrepancies related to quantity, timing, coding, and delivery in collaboration with media buyers and vendors.
• Track vendor credits, make goods, revisions to invoices, billing adjustments, and resolve disputed amounts.
• Coordinate billing approvals with the Media Planning and Buying teams.
• Prepare client media bills in accordance with approved media plans, authorizations, billing schedules, and contractual obligations.
• Verify billing amounts against authorized budgets, media orders, and campaign timelines.
• Address inquiries regarding media invoices, billing statuses, and supporting documents.
• Maintain a comprehensive billing calendar and tracking system.
• Identify and escalate issues related to billing delays, absent approvals, and inadequate documentation.
• Experience with Mediaocean platforms, particularly Prisma, is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is essential.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
