
Media Buyer – Performance Marketing Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Take charge of the daily management of approximately $1.2M in annual paid advertising across Meta and Google, covering Shopping, Performance Max, Search, and YouTube.
• Develop, launch, and refine campaigns within the platform, including account structure, budgeting, bidding strategies, audience targeting, and daily pacing.
• Execute a structured creative testing initiative in collaboration with the internal creative team.
• Provide the creative team with briefs for upcoming assets guided by data insights.
• Report performance relative to blended MER and contribution margin objectives instead of relying solely on platform-reported ROAS.
• Oversee product data feeds for Google Shopping and the Meta catalog, ensuring feed quality, titles, and segmentation are optimized.
• Ensure tracking accuracy across Meta Pixel and CAPI, Google tags, and GA4.
• Identify tracking discrepancies before they influence decision-making.
• Design and implement landing page and offer tests aimed at enhancing conversion rates.
• Assist in the growth of both demand creation and demand capture efforts.
• Develop n8n and Zapier automations for reporting, pacing notifications, and creative trafficking.
• Suggest budget reallocations, including recommendations for when to reduce spending.
• Maintain ownership across the marketing stack while primarily concentrating on media buying.
• A minimum of 4 years of practical media buying experience.
• At least 2 years of direct personal responsibility for managing $75–150k per month in advertising spend.
• Proven experience in ecommerce or DTC; ability to discuss accounts managed with tangible results.
• Strong expertise in both Meta and Google platforms.
• Proficient understanding of blended metrics (MER, CAC, contribution margin).
• Solid foundation in measurement principles: Meta Pixel and CAPI configuration, conversion tracking, attribution windows, and basics of incrementality testing.
• Experience collaborating with an in-house creative team, crafting briefs, diagnosing creative fatigue, and converting results into actionable assets.
• Outstanding written English capabilities, characterized by excellent grammar, tone, and clarity.
• Experience with physical products or considered purchases is advantageous.
• Background in construction, tools, or trades is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with Amazon Ads is an added benefit.
