This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the installation, assembly, disassembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery.
• Work with complex precision machinery, such as high-speed sorters, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pumps, gears, bearings, and compressors.
• Oversee the fitting of bearings, alignment of gears and wheels, attachment of motors, and connection of belts in accordance with blueprints and drawings.
• Supervise the disassembly of machinery using hand tools.
• Supervise the unloading, inspection, movement, and positioning of equipment utilizing cranes, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Supervise rigging and hoisting devices for the movement of equipment and materials.
• Supervise a team of up to 10 workers.
• Support inventory control and logging using a digital application.
• Occasionally oversee and assess the work of journeymen, helpers, and laborers.
• Work Monday through Friday for over 40 hours weekly, with the availability to work all 7 days.
• Travel up to 100% as required.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in mechanical installations.
• Must fulfill all physical demands outlined in the job posting.
• Experience with industrial hand tools and power tools is essential.
• OSHA 10 certification or higher is required.
• Technical education or equivalent experience is mandatory.
• Reliable transportation is necessary.
• Must be able to work 7 days as needed.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematic drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Competence in reading and interpreting technical manuals.
• Ability to obtain required local badging mandated by the customer or general contractor at the assignment site.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Must possess all journeymen hand tools.
• Working knowledge of cables, ropes, hoists, and chains is required.
• Understanding of mathematical concepts, geometry, and layout is essential.
• Good reading comprehension skills are necessary.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions and at heights.
• Capability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Eligible to participate in an annual performance bonus program.
• Full-time position.
• Up to 100% travel may be required.
