This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance with the installation, assembly, disassembly, upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery.

• Operate high-complexity precision machinery, including high-speed sorters, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pumps, gears, bearings, and compressors.

• Oversee the fitting of bearings, alignment of gears and wheels, motor attachment, and belt connections based on blueprints and drawings.

• Manage the disassembly of machinery utilizing hand tools.

• Supervise the unloading, inspection, movement, and positioning of equipment using cranes, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.

• Direct the use of rigging and hoisting devices for moving equipment and materials.

• Supervise a team of up to 200 individuals.

• Assist in inventory control and logging through a digital application.

• Occasionally oversee and evaluate the work of journeymen, helpers, and laborers.

• Report and communicate with the project team effectively.

• Work Monday through Friday for 40 or more hours per week, with a willingness to work 7 days when necessary.

• Travel up to 100% as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in mechanical installations.

• Must fulfill all physical demands as outlined in the posting.

• Experience with industrial hand tools and power tools is essential.

• OSHA 10 certification or higher is required.

• Technical education or relevant experience is necessary.

• Reliable transportation is a must.

• Must be willing to work 7 days a week as needed.

• Capability to read blueprints, schematic drawings, engineering specifications, and technical manuals.

• Ability to obtain mandatory local badging required by the customer or general contractor at the assignment location.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Possess journeyman hand tools.

• Working knowledge of cables, ropes, hoists, and chains.

• Understanding of mathematical concepts, geometry, and layout.

• Strong reading comprehension skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Willingness to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and utilize fall protection.

• Capable of working in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Commitment to adhering to safety rules and regulations.
