Mechanical Design Engineer – Industrial Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Create mechanical designs, proposal illustrations, and installation concepts for Flow Control and Slide Gate systems.

• Design, modify, and enhance mechanical equipment, including drives, support structures, and associated system components.

• Generate comprehensive engineering documentation, drawings, and equipment specifications for client projects.

• Assist with trials, conversions, equipment upgrades, and new installations.

• Oversee engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.

• Assess customer processes and operational requirements to propose engineering solutions.

• Diagnose equipment and process challenges, identify root causes, and apply corrective measures.

• Work collaboratively with Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Field Service, and R&D teams.

• Offer technical expertise and support to customers and internal teams.

• Engage in the development of new technologies, products, and engineering enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in engineering, mechanical design, project engineering, or a similar technical role.

• Associate's degree, Technical Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.

• Strong grasp of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and engineering fundamentals.

• Proficient in using 3D CAD software, including Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or comparable design platforms.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a knack for identifying root causes and crafting effective solutions.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities within a collaborative setting.

• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
