This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop prototypes suitable for production, create modular front-end components, and implement core features that are user-facing.

• Revamp and enhance significant features and workflows.

• Detect visual discrepancies and user experience hurdles.

• Engage in project kickoffs to gain insights into the product and its target audience.

• Suggest visual directions and design solutions.

• Advocate for application performance, adherence to WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards, and the maintainability of the codebase.

• Work collaboratively with leadership and play a key role in mission-critical defense initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires 4+ years of experience as a Frontend or Design Engineer.

• A robust portfolio showcasing completed interfaces that highlight both design and front-end development expertise.

• Extensive professional experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

• Highly proficient in Tailwind and contemporary CSS principles, including container queries, cascade layers, specificity, OKLCH color spaces, view transitions, flexbox, and grid layouts.

• Solid understanding of accessibility standards, specifically WCAG 2.2/WCAG 2.2 AA.

• Strong comprehension of essential performance metrics, including Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse scores.

• Familiarity with design workflows and their associated technical or hardware limitations.

• Capability to write clean and maintainable code.

• Ability to independently assess and evaluate LLM output.

• U.S. citizenship is a requirement.

• Must be eligible to obtain or currently possess a Secret or Top Secret U.S. security clearance.
