
MBA Intern – Finance & Strategy Leadership Development Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Amgen's organizational leaders and gain insights across various functional areas within Finance & Strategy.
• Implement a timely and relevant project that is directly linked to strategic and tactical objectives.
• Develop financial and technical competencies.
• Employ critical thinking skills in a dynamic, high-visibility environment.
• Obtain insights into the cross-functional aspects of Amgen’s operations and roles.
• Engage in a week-long multidisciplinary case study that encompasses revenue and expense forecasting, operations, as well as sales and marketing.
• There is a possibility to transition into Amgen’s 3-year Finance & Strategy Leadership Development Program upon successful completion of the internship.
• Must remain enrolled in an accredited college or university following the internship program.
• The student must reside in the United States for the entire duration of the internship program.
• Availability for a full-time work schedule is required.
• Must be enrolled in a Full-Time MBA Program and be prepared to accept and commit to future full-time employment by July 2028, if offered.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older.
• Must have graduated with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Currently enrolled in an MBA program from an accredited institution and must have completed the first year of the MBA program prior to the internship commencement.
• A preferred undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking capabilities along with effective quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities and capacity to work effectively in teams while interacting with all management levels.
• Experience and/or an interest in Corporate Finance.
• A thoughtful cover letter that articulates interest in the FSLDP and alignment with Amgen’s mission and commercial leadership objectives.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the program.
