This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Act as a vital member of the Naval Power Integrated Supply Chain organization.
β’ Assist and occasionally take the lead on Supply Chain Execution, Customer Proposal, and Program Start-up initiatives for the Ship Systems Integration & Sustainment (SSIS) portfolio.
β’ Serve as the intermediary between the program office, engineering, operations, quality, contracts, and finance departments.
β’ Formulate, coordinate, and implement material strategies to enable SSI programs to achieve supply chain, portfolio, and business goals.
β’ Engage in program, IPTL, and supplier meetings as an essential SCM team member.
β’ Create and execute material program plans (MPP) and subcontract management strategies.
β’ Manage the supplier management process, encompassing supplier performance, Supply Chain metrics, Make/Buy Where strategy, and strategic agreements.
β’ Oversee supplier and finance management activities, including Risk/Opportunity assessments, Line of Balance, metrics, and material sales forecasts.
β’ Act as a liaison among the Program Executive, Program Managers, IPTs, and the Supply Chain organization.
β’ Supervise SCM functions necessary to fulfill program requirements and connect Sourcing, Logistics, and Production Control operations.
β’ Address urgent supply chain tasks, such as ensuring Purchase Requisition accuracy, Single/Sole Source Justifications, Supplier Statements of Work, and Purchase Order follow-ups.
β’ Represent the Supply Chain organization regarding policies, strategies, and objectives.
β’ Drive continuous improvement using CORE, Six Sigma, or related Lean methodologies/principles.
β’ U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information under this program/contract.
β’ Generally requires a university degree or equivalent experience along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant prior experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supply chain role or a closely related position such as Production Control, Operations, Finance, or Supplier Engineering.
β’ Proven experience working in a cross-functional matrixed Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.
β’ MPM level 4 certification or equivalent experience is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SOW) is preferred.
β’ Experience with Supplier Statements of Work (SOW) is preferred.
β’ Proficiency in Supply Chain / Production Control / Procurement processes, Special Access Programs / MRP systems, and requirements management is preferred.
β’ Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
β’ Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
β’ Up to 25% travel is required; with domestic travel not exceeding 20%.
