Material Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Oversee Global Supply Chain Management functions within the Evolved SeaSparrow Missile portfolio.

• Act as the liaison between Supply Chain and the program’s integrated product teams or similar organizations.

• Formulate and execute material strategies.

• Conduct material forecasting.

• Ensure adherence to cost and schedule requirements.

• Assess metrics to evaluate the health of Global Supply Chain Management.

• Perform supplier evaluations.

• Create and support ROMs/proposals.

• Drive processes to successful completion to meet an aggressive delivery schedule.

• Suggest business solutions to enhance operational efficiencies and support the success of business areas and programs.

• Operate with minimal supervision and raise issues when assistance is needed.

• Adjust to both strategic and tactical tasks.

• Influence team decisions and outcomes effectively.

• Collaborate in a cross-functional, team-oriented setting.

• Manage multiple competing priorities.

• Synthesize information from various sources to achieve favorable outcomes.

• Commit to continuous learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

• Background in supply chain, operations, program planning, estimating, compliance, or a related field.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

• U.S. citizenship is necessary, as only U.S. citizens can obtain a security clearance.

• An active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required from day one.

• EVMS certification is preferred.

• A Master’s degree in business is preferred.
