Material Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Oversee Global Supply Chain Management operations related to the Evolved SeaSparrow Missile portfolio.

• Act as the liaison between Supply Chain and the program’s integrated product teams or similar organizations.

• Create and execute material strategies.

• Conduct material forecasting.

• Ensure compliance with cost and schedule requirements.

• Analyze metrics to assess the health of Global Supply Chain Management.

• Perform supplier evaluations.

• Develop and assist with ROMs and proposals.

• Propel processes to completion in alignment with an aggressive delivery timeline.

• Function with minimal supervision and seek assistance when necessary.

• Adjust to both strategic and tactical assignments.

• Collaborate within a cross-functional, team-oriented environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A University Degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline with at least 5 years of experience.

• At least 7 years of progressive, relevant business experience in supply chain, operations, program planning, estimating, compliance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in operations, program planning, estimating, or compliance within a manufacturing and/or supply chain context.

• Capacity to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• An active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required from day one.

• Earned Value Management System Certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with Office 365 is preferred.

• Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities.

• Proficient in processing information from diverse sources.

• Capability to thrive in a cross-functional, team-oriented setting.
