This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Spearhead the creation and integration of intricate back-end software solutions.
• Design, develop, and sustain advanced back-end services utilizing C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
• Develop and enhance SOAP and REST APIs, adhering to standards for versioning, security, performance, and documentation.
• Guarantee service reliability through unit and integration testing, proactive troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of production incidents.
• Collaborate on system and service integrations using suitable software design patterns and architectural principles.
• Conduct code reviews and offer mentorship and technical support to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, suggesting and implementing enhancements.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and best practices to boost development efficiency, quality, and deployment consistency.
• Act as a technical reference for the .NET stack.
• Assist the team in delivering scalable, maintainable solutions that align with business objectives.
• Extensive experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core in high-volume, production environments.
• Advanced practical experience in designing and constructing back-end services using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
• Strong background in implementing and evolving SOAP and RESTful services, including versioning, security, and best practices.
• Profound understanding of ADO.NET and SQL Server, encompassing database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Proficient in XML serialization/deserialization for integrations and data exchange.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, clean architecture principles, and engineering best practices.
• Experience in designing unit and integration tests, troubleshooting complex issues, and conducting root-cause analysis.
• Effective communication skills and resilience in dynamic, multicultural teams.
• Advanced English proficiency; all communications will be conducted in English.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure (nice to have).
• Familiarity with specification-driven development and agentic approaches to software development (nice to have).
• Exposure to Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban (nice to have).
