Master Data Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Define and implement the ADS Master Data Management strategy.

• Create a roadmap for data governance, enhancement of quality, and MDM maturity.

• Establish policies, standards, and procedures for master data across various business functions.

• Lead the shift to governed ADS data management practices.

• Serve as the business owner for initiatives related to master data governance.

• Collaborate with enterprise MDM teams to ensure data harmonization across divisions.

• Propel data quality initiatives and establish as well as monitor data quality KPIs and metrics.

• Conduct root-cause analysis and address recurring data issues.

• Implement preventative measures to enhance data accuracy and consistency.

• Develop reports and dashboards to assess ADS data quality performance.

• Partner with the project management team to determine data requirements for ongoing and future projects.

• Collaborate with the Snowflake enterprise data platform and analytics team.

• Support the integration of MDM capabilities into both upstream and downstream systems.

• Maintain definitions, glossaries, lineage documentation, and governance records for master data.

• Provide reports on the health of data mastering, exceptions, and initiatives for improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience in Master Data Management and Enterprise Data Governance.

• Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable MDM processes, including ownership, stewardship, and controls.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in stakeholder engagement.

• Capability to navigate complex requirements between business and technical teams.

• Excellent skills in documentation, communication, and process improvement.

• Significant experience in data governance, ERP management, and business systems such as CRM and Engineering PDM/PLMs.

• Experience in global manufacturing or engineering environments is preferred.

• Applicants must provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status, or be eligible for export authorization under ITAR and/or EAR.
