This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take complete ownership of the tag manager implementation from start to finish, which includes the server-side GTM container, and assess modifications suggested by other teams.
• Collaborate daily with the paid marketing team to resolve tracking issues, establish tracking for landing pages and campaigns, and troubleshoot discrepancies between platform conversions and internal metrics.
• Develop and sustain server-to-server conversion tracking, encompassing Meta CAPI and Google Enhanced Conversions.
• Verify pixel versus server deduplication accuracy.
• Enhance the performance and accuracy of tracking scripts while ensuring the impact on pagespeed and Core Web Vitals remains within acceptable limits.
• Implement consent management and regional restrictions across various markets.
• Define and document event schemas and UTM conventions.
• Create monitoring and alert systems for the measurement stack.
• Evaluate pull requests that introduce conversion events to the primary application.
• Work in conjunction with product engineering on tracking integration efforts.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Capable of working within frontend code and a production application codebase.
• Practical experience with Google Tag Manager, including server-side GTM.
• Experience implementing at least one server-to-server conversion API, such as Meta CAPI or Google Enhanced Conversions.
• Familiarity with debugging attribution discrepancies from start to finish.
• Experience with pixel versus server deduplication processes.
• Knowledge of UTM conventions and event schema design principles.
• Strong understanding of web performance and Core Web Vitals.
• Basic knowledge of consent and privacy regulations, including Consent Mode v2 and regional limitations.
• SQL skills for validating tracking data in a data warehouse.
• Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) like Segment, RudderStack, or Snowplow (preferred).
• Familiarity with product analytics tools such as GA4, Amplitude, or PostHog, and dbt (preferred).
• Experience with Next.js (preferred).
• Exposure to incrementality testing or media mix modeling (preferred).
