This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as the hands-on technical lead for the marketing technology ecosystem, which includes Marketo and associated tools.
• Configure, sustain, optimize, assess, and suggest marketing technology solutions.
• Manage the lead lifecycle, scoring, nurture framework, and operational campaigns.
• Oversee programs, detect leaks and underperformance, reengineer logic, and create modular, replicable programs.
• Troubleshoot sync failures, routing issues, field mapping, and webinar/event integrations independently.
• Maintain email segmentation, personalization, dynamic content, deliverability, sending governance, frequency rules, suppressions, and audience conflict controls.
• Establish UTM tracking standards, campaign and channel taxonomy, attribution tools, and ensure data accuracy for campaign reporting.
• Ensure data integrity through hygiene, deduplication, normalization, enrichment, and purging processes.
• Set and uphold standards and documentation for processes, systems, programs, tools, and workflows.
• Collaborate with Demand Gen, Events, and Sales to convert goals into system execution and handle intake/prioritization.
• Lead the external execution agency by defining specifications, standards, and quality expectations.
• Provide mentorship as the team expands.
• Propel AI-driven automation for scoring, segmentation, QA, and repetitive tasks with appropriate governance.
• Over 5 years of experience in marketing operations, preferably in B2B SaaS.
• Marketo Certified Expert (Adobe Certified Expert — Marketo Engage), or equivalent demonstrated hands-on expertise.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Marketo.
• Strong functional knowledge of Salesforce, including its data model and Marketo synchronization/integration.
• Proven experience in owning and significantly enhancing a production lead lifecycle and scoring model.
• Background in implementing and maintaining tracking and attribution infrastructure.
• Solid email operations experience, including segmentation and personalization logic, nurture creation, deliverability, and sender reputation.
• History of working independently as the sole or senior technical owner of an instance.
• Familiarity with GDPR/CCPA is a plus.
• Experience in directing an agency and mentoring a team is advantageous.
• Knowledge of webinar, ABM, enrichment, and modular email build platforms is beneficial.
• Ability to work remotely from Canada; preference for the ET Timezone.
• Travel requirements are minimal, less than 10%, occurring once or twice a year.
