This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the entire vendor contract lifecycle, which encompasses prospecting, negotiating terms, mitigating risks, and resolving issues.
• Lead the annual budget planning process and conduct regular budget reviews.
• Monitor marketing expenses, identify variances, and report on budget status.
• Track vendor performance and spending metrics while maintaining accurate data records.
• Supervise invoice processing and payment operations.
• Identify areas of friction and implement scalable solutions along with standard operating procedures.
• Convert marketing strategy into actionable operational roadmaps.
• Assess, select, and integrate systems, applications, and technologies.
• Drive change management and promote the adoption of tools and workflows.
• Investigate, implement, and foster the use of AI tools.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and People & Culture departments.
• Act as project manager for assigned cross-functional and external partner projects.
• Coordinate annual marketing strategic planning initiatives and plan check-ins.
• Develop, refine, and automate reporting for leadership, boards, committees, and partners.
• Facilitate professional development, team-building, and technology fluency programs.
• Organize logistics for team meetings, retreats, and project-related travel.
• Safeguard sensitive and confidential information while ensuring data integrity.
• Report directly to the Director of Content & Campaigns.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 4 years of experience in marketing operations, program management, or business operations.
• Experience preferred in a national or multi-site organization.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating vendor contracts and managing complex budgets.
• Proficiency in Asana, Canto, AI (Generative, Agentic, and emerging functionalities), and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Prior experience with marketing operations platforms is highly preferred.
• PMP or similar certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in UX or Human Centered Design is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
• Reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace are essential.
• Ability to think strategically and systemically.
• Strong skills in vendor negotiation and cross-functional collaboration.
• Effective problem-solving abilities in ambiguous and complex scenarios.
• Capacity to manage confidential information with sound judgment.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to convey complex data in narrative form.
• Skills in change management and adoption.
