This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute lender-driven compliance updates, which include APRs, disclosures, and regulated content, across landing pages and internal systems.
• Collaborate with external partners to ensure marketplace accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Develop and sustain marketing reports and Google Sheets dashboards.
• Create analyses for month-over-month, year-over-year, campaign, and partner performance.
• Verify the accuracy of the monthly billing sheet.
• Investigate and address discrepancies between reports and data sources.
• Oversee landing page content and lender display order within the Student Loans marketplace.
• Establish new pages and refresh existing content.
• Assist with internal and lender requests, including logo split tests and landing pages provided by partners.
• Configure and set up affiliate campaigns using Voluum.
• Distribute creative assets to traffic partners.
• Reconcile partner billing and invoices across both sides of the marketplace.
• Validate, approve, or reject traffic-partner invoices.
• Follow up on invoice discrepancies and submit partner requisitions.
• Audit lender-side invoices and present issues to marketing leadership.
• Maintain payout rates and revenue terms in internal administrative systems.
• Manage the partner contract workflow in Ironclad.
• Track contracts through various stages, identify next steps, and engage with stakeholders.
• Coordinate efforts among lenders, traffic partners, Finance, Marketing, and internal teams.
• Support NerdWallet’s Student Loans division and its mission to empower consumers in making informed financial choices.
• Approximately 0–3 years of relevant experience preferred; candidates with additional experience will also be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, including knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and dashboard creation.
• Comfortable working with numerical data, reconciling figures, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining precise financial and operational records.
• Capability to rapidly learn platforms and internal tools such as Voluum, Ironclad, WordPress, Amplitude, Databricks, and custom internal systems.
• Excellent written communication skills in a professional context.
• Exceptional attention to detail regarding regulated content, financial reconciliation, contracts, and external communications.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to track multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Proactive in following up with external partners and internal teams.
• Sound judgment regarding independent actions versus escalation.
• Adaptability across compliance, content, reporting, billing, contracts, and affiliate operations.
• Initiative in acquiring knowledge of systems and incorporating feedback.
• Collaborative mindset and open communication style.
• Ability to connect operational tasks to broader business objectives.
• Hands-on experience with affiliate tracking, attribution, or click-tracking platforms preferred.
• Familiarity with performance or affiliate marketing concepts, such as CPL, CPA, attribution, and conversion tracking, preferred.
• Knowledge of Google Ads or Meta Ads preferred.
• Experience in fintech, lending, financial services, or another regulated industry preferred.
• Understanding of accounts payable or receivable, invoice reconciliation, and billing audits preferred.
• Working knowledge of SQL or data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift preferred.
• Experience with Ironclad or DocuSign CLM preferred.
• Familiarity with WordPress preferred.
• Comfort using AI tools or lightweight automation like Claude Code or Zapier preferred.
• Must be based in the United States.
