This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee Orbital’s marketing team by establishing priorities, delegating responsibilities, nurturing team members, and ensuring timely and high-quality execution of tasks.

• Create and implement the annual marketing and communications strategy in alignment with the company’s growth objectives.

• Enhance and manage Orbital’s brand identity, messaging, and market positioning.

• Oversee the company website, focusing on content, functionality, user experience, analytics, and optimization efforts.

• Formulate and execute an SEO strategy aimed at boosting organic search visibility, increasing website traffic, and generating qualified business opportunities.

• Direct social media efforts, with a primary emphasis on LinkedIn and other relevant B2B platforms.

• Manage LinkedIn profiles and thought-leadership strategies for executives.

• Collaborate with executives and subject matter experts to create industry insights, articles, posts, presentations, and additional thought-leadership content.

• Develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns that support strategic markets, service lines, clients, and business-development initiatives.

• Work alongside Business Development and operational leaders to create marketing materials, case studies, project profiles, presentations, proposals, and client-facing content.

• Establish and maintain a company-wide content strategy and editorial calendar.

• Lead the strategy for conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, and industry events.

• Identify speaking and media opportunities for executives and subject matter experts.

• Develop and manage public relations and media strategies.

• Spearhead the strategy for awards and recognitions.

• Oversee promotional items, branded merchandise, signage, trade show materials, and brand assets.

• Create corporate communications for company announcements, organizational initiatives, acquisitions, strategic priorities, and milestones.

• Collaborate with Human Resources and executive leadership on internal communications, employee engagement, recruiting campaigns, and company-wide initiatives.

• Assist executive leadership with presentations, biographies, talking points, and speeches.

• Establish marketing processes, standards, and best practices.

• Monitor marketing performance and report on website metrics, SEO, social media, campaigns, events, and key performance indicators.

• Identify and implement opportunities for AI, automation, and emerging technologies.

• Manage relationships with marketing vendors, agencies, budgets, and external resources.

• Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to the marketing team.

• Set goals, priorities, responsibilities, and performance expectations for direct reports.

• Cultivate team members through coaching, feedback, training, and professional development opportunities.

• Allocate marketing resources effectively and establish streamlined workflows and processes.

• Coordinate the workload between internal marketing resources and external vendors.

• Assess staffing and resource requirements as marketing needs evolve.

• Report directly to the President and Chief Legal Officer.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of progressive experience in marketing and communications.

• Proven experience in managing or leading marketing professionals is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies.

• Strong knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, website management, social media, analytics, and content strategy.

• Experience in managing executive social media profiles and crafting thought-leadership content.

• Background in managing conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, and corporate events.

• Excellent writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills.

• Experience collaborating directly with executive leadership and senior business leaders.

• Ability to comprehend complex technical services and articulate them into clear, compelling market-facing content.

• Strong project management and organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Familiarity with website content management systems, SEO tools, social media platforms, analytics software, and other marketing technologies.

• Experience utilizing AI and emerging technologies to enhance marketing processes and content development is preferred.
