This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Propel profitable growth, portfolio strategy, and innovation for Arxada's Plastics & Specialties division.
• Convert insights from customers, applications, competition, regulations, and market trends into actionable strategies for growth, portfolio priorities, and commercialization plans.
• Evaluate markets and applications through customer segmentation, mapping, competitive intelligence, value chain analysis, and TAM/SAM/SOM modeling.
• Aid in portfolio strategy and lifecycle management, which includes positioning, developing value propositions, pricing support, margin enhancement, product optimization, and portfolio rationalization.
• Direct the commercial front end of innovation by recognizing unmet market needs, crafting business cases, defining target product profiles, and steering projects through stage-gate processes to successful commercialization.
• Collaborate with Sales to broaden opportunity pipelines, support strategic account initiatives, and expedite the conversion of new applications and customer opportunities.
• Transform voice-of-customer insights into growth initiatives and portfolio priorities.
• Assist in creating marketing materials, website content, sales enablement tools, and customer-oriented value propositions.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with customers, industry leaders, and key stakeholders throughout the value chain.
• Represent Arxada at customer meetings, trade associations, conferences, and industry events.
• Present data-driven recommendations during strategic planning, portfolio assessments, budget development, and business evaluations.
• Travel up to 20% to aid business growth initiatives and customer engagement activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, R&D, Technical Service, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• An MBA or advanced technical degree is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in strategic marketing, product management, technical marketing, or business development within specialty chemicals, polymer additives, or performance materials.
• Experience in rigid PVC, flexible PVC, polyurethane foams, engineering plastics, or related markets is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in driving profitable growth, portfolio strategy, market expansion, and effective commercialization initiatives.
• Strong commercial insight with a history of constructing business cases and supporting strategic investment choices.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capability to influence cross-functional and global teams.
