This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take the lead in implementing Whereby’s marketing strategy.
• Enhance the Whereby brand by boosting awareness, generating and capturing demand, while increasing the sales pipeline, revenue, and user acquisition.
• Drive sign-ups and promote the adoption of Whereby Embedded API and Whereby Meetings, particularly within the healthcare sector.
• Execute strategies focused on account-based marketing, brand development, sales enablement, and product-led customer acquisition.
• Collaborate with the Commercial team and various departments on B2B marketing initiatives.
• Design and implement campaigns and tactics across diverse channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including agencies and vendors.
• Measure and analyze marketing performance, providing insights aligned with company objectives.
• Advise on marketing budget allocations and suggest expenditure to the Chief Commercial Officer.
• Oversee ongoing marketing activity expenditure.
• Utilize analytics tools to assess marketing effectiveness and impact.
• Assist the leadership team with insights for board-level discussions.
• Report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.
• Provide maternity cover for the current Marketing Lead.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship from Whereby.
• Previous experience in B2B marketing within a start-up environment is essential.
• Generalist marketing experience with a readiness to engage in various tasks as needed.
• Current role as Marketing Lead or Senior Marketing Manager is preferred.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in areas such as Content/Social Media Marketing, Account-Based Marketing, Brand Development, SEO, Product Marketing, Performance Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, CRO/website management, and Event Marketing.
• Strong background in B2B marketing.
• Experience in health tech or with a technical/developer-focused product is advantageous.
• Experience in a start-up environment is desirable.
• Familiarity with distributed teams is beneficial.
• Ability to think strategically while executing hands-on tactics and campaigns across multiple channels.
• Strong communication skills, autonomy, collaboration, adaptability, prioritization, organization, customer focus, creative thinking, and analytical abilities are required.
