This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Propel Forest Home’s mission forward by implementing creative, engaging, and brand-aligned marketing and communications across Programs and Guest Retreats.
• Assist the Marketing department through content development, graphic design, organic social media management, email marketing, and overall brand support.
• Strategize and produce organic social media content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Create marketing materials and email communications.
• Compose and edit marketing copy, encompassing social media captions, email content, promotional messages, and additional communications.
• Work in partnership with Forest Home’s photo and video team to establish shot lists and prioritize creative objectives.
• Communicate upcoming content requirements, organize received assets, and pinpoint opportunities to repurpose existing photo/video content.
• Design and assemble emails in HubSpot, create accompanying graphics, and draft/edit email text.
• Review and produce materials to ensure consistent application of logos, typography, colors, imagery, voice, and overall brand presentation.
• Organize photography, video, graphics, templates, and other creative assets for easy access and reuse.
• Cultivate a basic understanding of organic social and email performance and leverage insights for future creative endeavors.
• Attend scheduled virtual meetings to provide project updates and address potential challenges.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Currently pursuing or recently obtained a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior internship, coursework, volunteer experience, or hands-on experience in marketing, communications, social media, or graphic design is preferred.
• A portfolio or examples of creative work are preferred.
• Support Forest Home's mission and values.

• Possess a strong visual design sense and creative eye.

• Preferred experience with Canva.
• Preferred experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and/or Premiere Pro.
• Preferred experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub and/or Mailchimp.
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite.
• Familiarity with content creation for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Experience in graphic design for social media, flyers, presentations, and digital communications.
• Basic photography, videography, and/or video editing experience.
• Mild physical work may be required, including lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 20 pounds.
• Visual acuity to read words and numbers.
• Sufficient speaking and hearing ability to communicate in person.
• Willingness to work in an environment with moderate exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and unpleasant odors.
• Seasonal position offering approximately 20 hours per week from October through December.
