This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist multiple Media Buyers in managing all facets of media purchases.
• Create and validate media orders, modifications, and traffic adjustments.
• Retrieve historical data and correlate it with current availability for both internal and external use.
• Address requests and traffic requirements while coordinating creative approvals with network S&P departments.
• Keep media records updated in the proprietary database.
• Reconcile and oversee invoice discrepancies for media vendors.
• Provide backup support to Media Buyers and assist during their absence.
• Engage in team meetings and offer suggestions for process enhancements.
• Aid in negotiating advertisement pricing, quality, and placement across assigned channels.
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve daily tasks.
• Support buy management for smaller networks.
• Acquire knowledge of the marketplace, including programming, pricing, clearance, relationships, and new opportunities.
• Comprehend client KPIs and media goals; suggest modifications, optimizations, and testing.
• Foster relationships with ad sales personnel at designated media partners.
• Keep abreast of developments, news, and updates in the media industry.
• Track, input, and report pre- and post-logs for assigned media outlets.
• Retrieve and log pre/post-log timing data, addressing any discrepancies.
• 1-3+ years of experience in media buying or advertising, preferably in direct response (DR) marketing and performance-driven converged video.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Comfortable handling large volumes of data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail with an ability to ensure data accuracy.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Slack, and Google Docs.
• Capable of managing multiple projects at once.
• Quick to learn different systems and databases.
• Able to work both collaboratively and independently.
