Marketing Expert – Field Marketing, AI Agent Environments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create task briefs grounded in actual field marketing or event experience.

• Determine the objectives of each task, identifying key challenges and decisions that a competent practitioner should address.

• Outline the necessary documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states essential for realistic task execution.

• Draft or assess reference answers and criteria that differentiate strong responses from plausible yet incorrect ones.

• Evaluate AI agent attempts against established practitioner standards.

• Develop tasks that involve diagnosing complex or conflicting data, prioritizing and making trade-offs, planning and executing, quality assurance and reconciliation, triaging and escalating, researching and evaluating, reporting, and orchestrating multi-step processes across tools.

• Engage with field marketing scenarios including event follow-ups, sponsorship decision-making, regional pipeline recovery, and joint planning focused on a specified account list.

• Participate in training and enhancement initiatives for AI systems at Mercor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience as a practitioner in field marketing or events.

• Proven experience managing a region with specific sales targets, beyond just logistical execution.

• Proficient in utilizing a CRM platform like Salesforce.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana or Linear.

• Prior experience in developing AI training environments, reinforcement learning environments, or simulated case studies is highly desirable.

• Certification from Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp is strongly preferred.

• Excellent written reasoning skills and the ability to articulate the rationale behind decisions.

• Completion of a brief multiple-choice knowledge assessment relevant to the sub-domain.

• Candidates must not hold H1-B or STEM OPT status, as Mercor is unable to support these applicants.

• Must operate as an independent contractor.
