This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the product strategy and roadmap for FinOps AI / ITFM+, focusing on cloud expenditure and AI cost/usage management.
• Position the product pillar to highlight AI value and ROI layers that are based on traditional cost reporting.
• Distinguish brightfin's integrated cost-optimization strategy in relation to technology spending.
• Make decisions regarding packaging options between a standalone AI SKU and incorporating AI capabilities into existing ITFM/TEM SKUs.
• Develop the business case for various packaging alternatives.
• Establish pricing based on outcomes and perceived value rather than just model access.
• Define the Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
• Conduct design partner engagements.
• Validate pricing through hands-on experience as a solo builder.
• Guide the pillar from its initial revenue to a significant Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
• Assemble the team and formulate a go-to-market strategy as the pillar expands.
• Lead the definition of Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), sales enablement, competitive positioning, and the closure of initial deals.
• Over 10 years of experience in product leadership.
• Proven experience in building or leading an AI-native product where the core value proposition is centered around AI, including agentic workflows, reasoning, automation, or ML-driven decision-making.
• Product leadership experience within a direct or related competitor in the ITFM/TEM/FinOps sector.
• Direct knowledge of how ITFM/TEM/FinOps platforms package and price AI capabilities.
• A successful track record of taking an AI-native product from MVP through design partnerships to a revenue range of $0–10M.
• Experience in pricing an AI feature or agent where the underlying model cost is not the customer's sole expense.
• Proven ability in driving ICP definition, pricing and packaging strategies, sales enablement, and competitive positioning.
• Comfortable working as an individual contributor during a 0-to-1 phase.
• Fluent in enterprise requirements such as auditability, governance, role-based access, and explainable outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Candidates will undergo a background check.
