This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with SBU executive sponsors and functional leaders to pinpoint large-scale AI opportunities.
• Structure AI opportunities with financial, strategic, and technical rigor to inform portfolio and SteerCo investment choices.
• Rank and promote AI initiatives based on their value, feasibility, execution risk, and alignment with strategic goals.
• Deliver Gate 1-ready recommendations and executive summaries.
• Assist in making architectural decisions, conducting trade-off analyses, and designing solutions for complex projects.
• Establish reusable AI patterns, engagement models, and reference architectures.
• Influence enterprise decisions on building, buying, and adapting with a focus on scalability, security, and responsible AI practices.
• Set benchmarks for execution-ready use case definitions, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Review and mentor Principal AIBPs and initiative teams on product thinking, user value, viability, and iterative processes.
• Lead or supervise complex POCs, pilots, and initial production activities.
• Model specification-driven and agentic workflows while normalizing AI-first development practices.
• Guide business units through discovery, qualification, value realization, and transition to operational status.
• Co-lead portfolio management efforts alongside PMO and AI Enablement.
• Manage prioritization perspectives, track value realization, and establish escalation paths for at-risk initiatives.
• Mentor Principal AIBPs and assist in hiring, onboarding, and skill development.
• Communicate updates, risks, and impacts to C-suite and technology executive stakeholders.
• Advocate for enterprise AI frameworks, governance, and best practices.
• A minimum of two from the following: formal education in engineering, computer science, data science, or a related field; professional training in AI/ML; practical experience in building AI or data-intensive systems.
• Demonstrated experience in an AI-first approach utilizing modern agentic development tools.
• Experience in senior product management, product engineering, or technical program leadership.
• Proven track record of guiding executive narratives through portfolio outcomes and delivering solutions at scale.
• Experience collaborating with engineering and data science leaders as a technical peer and thought partner.
• Financial and analytical skills to evaluate portfolio-level value, trade-offs, and execution risks.
• Executive presence when engaging with C-suite, CIO, and engineering leadership.
• Typically requires 12+ years of relevant experience, including leading AI or digital initiatives in complex enterprise settings.
• Experience in mentoring senior individual contributors or leading a group of technical product leaders.
• Preferred: experience covering multiple business units, domains, or governance of enterprise portfolios.
• Preferred: knowledge of LLM application design, enterprise AI architecture patterns, and responsible AI principles at scale.
• Preferred: a history of advancing multiple AI initiatives from POC to production and transitioning ownership to business operations.
• Preferred: experience contributing to operating models, playbooks, or COE standards accepted beyond a single team.
