Marketing Data Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Set up and manage Google Analytics along with other web analytics tools.

• Develop and refine dashboards to assist stakeholders in tracking KPIs.

• Examine user behavior and evaluate marketing channel performance to provide actionable insights.

• Resolve issues related to tracking and data collection.

• Perform ad hoc analyses and in-depth studies to aid product and marketing strategies.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of A/B tests.

• Track performance metrics and establish alerts for significant anomalies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to grasp objectives and convert them into measurement plans.

• Guide junior analysts in tools, best practices, and analytical methodologies.

• Assist customers, marketing, web, and product teams by evaluating performance, implementing tracking strategies, and proactively spotting trends.

• Report directly to the Measurement & Reporting team manager and collaborate with fellow analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in web, marketing, or product analytics is required.

• Expertise in Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, and Claude.

• Preferred experience in an AUTOMOTIVE AGENCY and/or MARKETING AGENCY.

• Practical experience with Google Tag Manager or other tag management systems is required.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets.

• Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and tools such as Optimizely is highly preferred.

• Comfortable troubleshooting tracking issues, performing debugging, and conducting QA.

• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Google App Script, and GitHub Actions is a plus.

• Must be located within the Continental U.S.; preference for Eastern or Central time zones.
