This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +16 more states.
• Assist in marketing, branding, communication, and event strategies across corporate and property marketing.
• Develop and manage content for Tailwind Group and property social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Create and refine high-quality short-form videos utilizing original or supplied footage, B-roll, and creative input.
• Oversee specific content calendars, campaigns, and social media initiatives from conception to execution.
• Design on-brand templates, graphics, presentations, and marketing materials using tools such as Canva, CapCut, and PowerPoint.
• Evaluate marketing materials and social media content for precision, quality, and adherence to brand standards.
• Organize brand templates, photography, video footage, digital assets, and shared marketing resources.
• Assist with ambassador programs, campus events, resident engagement, community collaborations, and brand experience projects.
• Create, format, edit, and perform quality checks on PowerPoint and Canva presentations.
• Proofread presentations, communications, and marketing collateral.
• Aid in internal communications, company announcements, awards submissions, and corporate content.
• Support the planning and execution of meetings, conferences, training sessions, employee events, resident activations, and property events.
• Assist in developing event objectives, target audiences, timelines, marketing strategies, budgets, and success metrics.
• Coordinate registration, attendee communications, vendor relations, sponsorships, signage, supplies, shipping, collateral, setup, and overall event logistics.
• Prepare event timelines, run-of-show documents, presentations, checklists, name badges, and supplementary materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure events align with business objectives and brand guidelines.
• Provide onsite event support, focusing on guest experience, vendor coordination, presentation management, content capture, and real-time problem-solving.
• Research industry events, conferences, partnerships, and activation opportunities.
• Collect feedback and performance data to assess event effectiveness and suggest enhancements.
• Organize meetings, agendas, notes, project trackers, follow-up items, and departmental deadlines.
• Assist with vendor documentation, invoice management, budget tracking, ordering, and branded merchandise inventory.
• Monitor content, campaign, event, and engagement performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Brand Experience Manager and Graphic Design Manager.
• Preferred associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, event management, or a related field.
• One to three years of experience in marketing, content creation, video editing, social media, communications, events, and/or project coordination preferred.
• Strong preference for experience in creating content for property, lifestyle, corporate, executive, or personal brands.
• Experience in student housing, multifamily, hospitality, or real estate is advantageous.
• Proficient short-form video editing skills, with an understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling, audience retention, and platform-specific practices.
• Required proficiency in Canva and CapCut.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging social media platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong visual discernment and ability to ensure consistency across various brands and audiences.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of juggling multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
• Strong written communication, proofreading, and professional correspondence skills.
• Ability to take initiative, incorporate feedback, resolve issues, and see projects through to completion.
• Capability to analyze basic performance data and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.
• Applicants must provide a portfolio or examples of relevant creative work; applications lacking work samples will not be considered.
• Must reside in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, or West Virginia for remote eligibility.
