Marketing Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee marketing projects, deliverables, sponsorships, and timelines in collaboration with agencies, vendors, contractors, and marketing partners.

• Compose, revise, and proofread newsletters, client communications, blog entries, and other external marketing materials.

• Design and modify on-brand graphics, advertisements, presentations, videos, and various materials for social media, digital campaigns, events, and marketing initiatives.

• Manage marketing contact lists, audience segments, CRM data, and records for referral partners.

• Monitor and assist in enhancing the firm’s social media presence.

• Assess and reconcile leads, calls, and web forms originating from Google Local Services Ads, the firm’s website, and additional sources.

• Guarantee precise tracking and attribution within Lawmatics.

• Collaborate with Intake Leadership to address data discrepancies.

• Gather lead and marketing performance data for reporting and return-on-investment evaluations.

• Maintain attorney profiles, memberships, and listings for referral services, including registrations, renewals, payments, and related records.

• Investigate marketing and business development opportunities.

• Organize gifts for clients and referral partners.

• Revise the Marketing Manual.

• Offer administrative and cross-functional team support as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, marketing coordination, or marketing support is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including flawless spelling and grammar.

• Proven graphic design capabilities.

• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, CapCut, or similar design and video-editing software.

• Familiarity with typography, layout, color theory, and brand consistency.

• Capability to create professional digital and print marketing materials.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to monitor deadlines, maintain precise records, anticipate challenges, and follow through consistently.

• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset and a desire to learn about the firm’s practice areas, clients, and business development objectives.

• Eagerness to learn new software, including Lawmatics, and embrace technology, AI tools, and efficient workflows.

• Capability to work independently, take initiative, and stay focused, productive, and accountable in a remote setting.

• Computer requirements: Windows 11 or newer, minimum 16 GB RAM, at least 500 GB SSD, Intel Core i5 10th Generation processor or equivalent, external mouse, webcam, and quality headset with microphone, or the ability to acquire these within two weeks of the start date.

• UPS or inverter for uninterrupted power, or the ability to obtain it within two weeks of the start date.

• Fiber or equivalent internet connection with a minimum of 100 Mbps, uncapped service, and Ethernet connection; Wi-Fi is not acceptable.

• Resume submitted as a PDF.

• Cover letter detailing the applicant's motivation to join the PJI Law team.

• Creative portfolio displaying designed graphics, flyers, social media content, marketing materials, presentations, videos, or other visual assets.

• A video of no more than 2 minutes responding to the provided marketing question in the application.
