This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, revise, proofread, and publish marketing and communications content for both internal and external audiences across various platforms.
• Edit and proof organizational deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.
• Manage the publication, updating, and maintenance of website content, including quick edits and content refreshes.
• Create marketing and communications materials for partners, donors, participants, and stakeholders.
• Write, produce, schedule, and oversee social media content across the organization’s platforms.
• Assist with both paid and organic digital marketing campaigns as well as content distribution efforts.
• Write, publish, and schedule marketing campaigns and email communications for internal and external audiences.
• Monitor, track, and report on media coverage and public relations activities.
• Build, maintain, and update media contact lists and outreach databases.
• Write media pitches, press materials, and other public relations content.
• Conduct research to support media relations, communication strategies, and marketing campaigns.
• Create and refresh marketing assets, including graphics, social media visuals, one-pagers, and basic layouts.
• Assist in photo and video editing for campaigns, storytelling projects, and promotional materials.
• Aid in internal communications initiatives, including newsletters, staff updates, and organizational announcements.
• Support planning and coordination of communications for meetings, special initiatives, organization-wide events, and town halls.
• Gather, track, and analyze marketing and communications data for KPI reporting, performance assessments, and dashboard management.
• Coordinate the ordering, production, and distribution of marketing materials, printed collateral, and promotional items.
• Assist with marketing and communications tasks related to organizational events and campaigns.
• Provide administrative support for marketing and communications projects and activities.
• Report directly to the Director of Communications.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in marketing or related fields.
• Proven experience managing social media accounts for a business or organization.
• Strong skills in content development and storytelling, with a background in creating engaging marketing, communications, and public relations materials.
• Experience with email marketing platforms, such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar tools, covering email creation, scheduling, list management, and performance analysis.
• Strong strategic and analytical abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally within an organization to facilitate project execution.
• Highly organized, demonstrating strong project management and operational discipline.
• Familiarity with website management is preferred.
• Experience in graphic design and video editing using platforms like Canva is preferred.
• Prior experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., Monday.com or similar).
• Demonstrated capacity to uphold the highest ethical standards, including confidentiality and handling sensitive situations with discretion and diplomacy.
• Submission of prior work, such as a portfolio, writing sample, or relevant work example, is highly preferred.
• Must have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccination prior to the start date and complete vaccination within 30 days unless an exemption has been approved.
• Ability to meet deadlines, produce high-quality work independently, and utilize standard office equipment and technology.
