This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the implementation and execution of globally coordinated medical communications strategies for designated CNS assets.
• Support communication priorities that align with asset strategy, lifecycle stages, and the changing external environment.
• Convert scientific and clinical insights into impactful communication strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Evidence Generation, Regulatory, and Commercial divisions.
• Contribute to the Medical Communication Plans, focusing on content and communication channel strategies.
• Aid in congress planning and execution while tracking communication deliverables.
• Assist in the development of Scientific Communication Platforms, ensuring scientific accuracy across all content.
• Create disease state, field, and congress materials.
• Support digital and omnichannel engagement strategies, including AI-enabled and digital innovations.
• Participate in cross-functional asset teams to ensure global messaging consistency.
• Ensure that communications are scientifically accurate, evidence-based, compliant, and ethically developed.
• Help with scope-of-work planning, resource allocation, agency partnerships, and operational enhancements.
• Guarantee the efficient delivery of high-quality outputs within budget and timelines.
• Oversee and develop managers and/or cross-functional contributors.
• Encourage scientific excellence, innovation, accountability, and teamwork.
• Collect best practices and utilize insights, analytics, and stakeholder feedback to refine communication strategies.
• An advanced degree is required (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent in science, medicine, or a related field).
• At least 7+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, or similar roles within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sector.
• A minimum of 3+ years of prior leadership experience, including the development and management of team members.
• Proven experience in supporting global communication strategies and integrated planning processes.
• Strong background in leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Experience in the CNS therapeutic area is highly preferred.
• Ability to translate complex scientific data into clear, strategic communication plans.
• Exceptional leadership and facilitation skills, including the capability to chair cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in content strategy, omnichannel engagement, and digital communication tools.
• Robust project management skills with experience in managing multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong executive presence.
• Strategic mindset with solid business acumen and the ability to align scientific communications with enterprise objectives.
• Experience in leveraging AI and digital tools to enhance content development and delivery.
