This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Develop, improve, and sustain a business intelligence platform to fulfill business intelligence and advanced analytics needs.
• Collaborate with business and operations teams from the initial project definition stage to project completion across various initiatives.
• Create reporting and analytical solutions.
• Produce comprehensive documentation.
• Execute minor application updates and enhancements to facilitate reporting and analytical solutions.
• Provide company reporting and dashboard solutions, documentation, minor application enhancements, and tailored analysis.
• Examine complex datasets derived from SQL to provide actionable insights for the Lottery’s digital projects.
• Evaluate and compare performance across various channels and platforms, offering recommendations for future growth opportunities.
• Assess CRM bonus campaign effectiveness and suggest new campaign strategies.
• Keep track of industry trends and innovations and report on them.
• Gather analytical and reporting requirements from the Lottery and collaborate with Product Owners to ensure successful delivery.
• Participate in Lottery and internal meetings to remain updated on requests, features, and areas for improvement.
• Attend necessary training and conferences.
• Facilitate projects or requirements gathering between the Lottery and vendors when assigned.
• Assist, advise, and work collaboratively to deliver on-demand reports and data as required.
• Over 3 years of experience in a Marketing Analytics/Business Analytics setting, focusing on strategy, operations, and marketing data analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or Economics is preferred.
• Proficient in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) with the ability to write complex SQL Queries.
• Advanced skills in Excel (Power Pivot, Power View, Power Query, Pivot Tables, Lookups, etc.).
• Expertise in gathering and documenting requirements from internal and external clients.
• Skilled in analyzing complex data sets and translating them into actionable insights that inform business decisions.
• Experience in ensuring data integrity and validating results, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with Power BI reporting tools.
• Ability to quickly investigate, familiarize, and master new data sets.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• A motivated individual with a blend of technical-functional expertise capable of collaborating with both business and technology teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to work independently.
• Experience in gaming analysis is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be authorized to work full-time in the job posting location without current or future visa sponsorship.
