This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Cultivate relationships with senior leaders in marketing, fan engagement, sponsorship, CRM, digital, and commercial sectors within sports organizations.
• Assist in positioning marketing solutions while articulating their business value and relevant use cases.
• Engage in executive briefings, client discovery calls, opportunity discussions, and go-to-market strategies.
• Recognize qualified sports marketing opportunities and facilitate the sales process through SOW signing.
• Provide insights on sports marketing priorities, buying centers, challenges, and investment trends.
• Identify complementary opportunities across data, AI, analytics, digital operations, sponsorship, revenue enhancement, and fan experiences.
• Advise on strategies for fan acquisition, retention, loyalty, lifecycle marketing, campaign strategy, execution, measurement, and optimization.
• Support audience segmentation, personalization, CRM, CDP, Fan 360, and the activation of marketing data.
• Provide guidance on sponsorship activation and the measurement of ROI.
• Assist in initiatives related to digital, social, email, mobile, web, and omnichannel engagement.
• Support efforts in ticketing, memberships, merchandise, sponsorship, and subscription revenue growth.
• Measure and enhance sponsorship ROI while optimizing sponsorship inventory and activation performance.
• Identify avenues to boost ticket sales and membership revenue.
• Assist in dynamic pricing, subscription, merchandising, and commercial analytics efforts.
• Spot AI and data opportunities, including AI-driven fan engagement, predictive analytics, churn prediction, next-best-action recommendations, GenAI-powered fan experiences, marketing/content optimization, Fan 360, and personalized fan journeys.
• Generate marketing-driven executive introductions and qualified sports marketing opportunities.
• Schedule strategic meetings with key decision-makers and initiate discussions on marketing solutions.
• Identify additional marketing, data, AI, and analytics opportunities.
• Influence pipeline, revenue, and facilitate the signing of SOWs.
• Report to the Sales Team and assist in the comprehensive sales cycle leading to SOW signing.
• Over 15 years of experience in sports marketing, fan engagement, CRM, sponsorship marketing, digital marketing, campaign management, marketing operations, or commercial marketing.
• Extensive experience working with sports clubs, leagues, teams, governing bodies, rights holders, or sports properties.
• Prior experience with major professional sports organizations, leagues, or sports properties is highly desirable.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage CMOs, CROs, sponsorship leaders, fan engagement leaders, digital leaders, and data/analytics executives.
• Demonstrated ability to translate sports marketing challenges into business and go-to-market opportunities.
• Robust understanding of sports business operations and commercial models.
• Familiarity with CRM, CDP, loyalty/membership platforms, fan engagement technologies, data and analytics, AI, and digital transformation.
• Established connections with CMOs, CROs, sponsorship leaders, fan engagement leaders, digital transformation leaders, data and analytics leaders, and senior executives across sports clubs, leagues, teams, and sports properties.
• Must possess experience with US sports clubs and leagues.
• Possibility of extension following the initial 3-month engagement.
• Flexible remote work arrangement.
• Compensation ranging from $50.00 to $52.00 per hour.
