Market Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure the growth and health of Airbnb Hotels’ inventory in San Diego and Palm Springs.

• Oversee Hotels and acquire top-quality inventory.

• Formulate acquisition strategies and generate and convert Hotel leads.

• Manage relationships with strategic partners and establish new collaborations.

• Develop and enhance scalable, localized supply management strategies.

• Cultivate, manage, and expand partner relationships within the region to exceed quarterly sales goals.

• Conduct optimization calls and business reviews with partners, providing in-person support as necessary.

• Manage and optimize a large number of Hotels in the area.

• Identify and onboard new, high-quality supply within the designated geography.

• Educate clients on product updates and communicate product and public policy feedback to internal teams.

• Leverage data to identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities while allocating resources efficiently.

• Develop and execute engagement projects within the territory.

• Collaborate across teams including product, communications, public policy, legal, tax, and customer support.

• Analyze local market trends and relay insights to internal and external stakeholders.

• Support software partnerships to ensure seamless experiences for hosts and guests.

• Represent Airbnb at external Hotel meetings and industry conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in new sales, account management, and partner support.

• 2+ years of experience in the tech or travel industry is advantageous.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a leads pipeline and a book of business.

• Strong quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and apply data effectively.

• Capability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, executing in ambiguous environments.

• Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Proficient in effective communication with clients via phone, email, and in person.

• Must reside in San Diego.

• Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.
