Market Leader – Manager Trainee

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of 8-10 Area Leaders managing approximately 100-150 retail locations.

• Provide guidance and support to Area Leaders and Store Operators, including store managers and franchisees, in their daily operations.

• Optimize sales and gross profit margins.

• Act as a pivotal change agent within a fast-paced and evolving business environment.

• Successfully complete the Market Leader training program.

• Recruit, train, and oversee Area Leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-10 years of relevant experience, including responsibility for profit and loss.

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA is preferred.

• Proven experience in multi-unit management for both company-operated and franchise operations.

• Multi-unit management experience encompassing 100-150 small-box stores or 15-50 big-box stores.

• Significant background in retail merchandising, ideally within the convenience-store and foodservice sectors.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned region, including approximately 25% overnight travel.

• Flexibility to relocate as necessary for this position.

• Demonstrated experience or ability in recruiting, training, and supervising Area Leaders.
