Market Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the operations of 12–20 express carwash locations within the market.

• Establish objectives, track results, and implement performance enhancement strategies.

• Ensure adherence to operational protocols, safety standards, and customer service expectations.

• Directly manage locations and oversee operations for the entire market.

• Take ownership of the market's P&L, encompassing revenue, labor, operational costs, and profitability.

• Analyze financial outcomes and spearhead action plans to boost sales, control expenses, and enhance profit margins.

• Foster membership growth and support local marketing initiatives.

• Lead and mentor Site Managers, Market Managers, Maintenance Leaders, and Market Trainers.

• Recruit, train, and provide coaching for leadership roles.

• Oversee maintenance performance, equipment reliability, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

• Ensure compliance with company standards regarding equipment, chemical usage, and facility conditions.

• Maintain consistent customer service and address customer inquiries.

• Conduct market inspections focusing on operations, cleanliness, safety, and team performance.

• Review KPIs, enforce accountability, and offer feedback for ongoing improvement.

• Prepare and deliver market performance briefings to regional or corporate leadership.

• Take charge of market-level operational choices, P&L management, staffing strategies, maintenance performance, and leadership decisions.

• Influence capital planning, pricing modifications, and strategic operational initiatives.

• Report significant capital requirements, long-term closures, and notable operational risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of multi-unit leadership experience in carwash, retail, service, or similar operational environments.

• Proven track record in managing P&Ls and driving financial outcomes.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching abilities at scale.

• Willingness to travel daily across multiple locations.

• Preferred experience in mechanical, industrial, or equipment-based operations.

• Capability to stand for extended durations and walk through sites on a daily basis.

• Ability to lift weights ranging from 25 to 50 pounds if necessary during site visits.

• Comfort in working outdoors year-round, including in diverse weather conditions.

• Flexible availability, including some weekends or evenings based on operational requirements.
