This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary contact for up to 20 customers involved in data center development at GE Vernova.
• Cultivate and sustain a thorough understanding of industry requirements, business goals, and strategic initiatives.
• Manage and nurture customer relationships, advocating for the interests of both GE Vernova and its clients.
• Provide executive sponsorship across both organizations to add value.
• Coordinate efforts with sales, technical, project management, quality, and senior management teams.
• Oversee customer communications, quality assurance, problem resolution, account planning, summaries, and executive meetings.
• Gain insights into the industry, market dynamics, competition, and the priorities and growth strategies of GE Vernova's business units.
• Create account maps for each developer.
• Represent the comprehensive GE Vernova portfolio and facilitate collaboration across business units for intricate or multi-P&L solutions.
• Partner with customer quality and business unit quality teams to pinpoint pain points and drive clear resolutions.
• Prioritize customer satisfaction throughout all processes and interactions.
• Utilize operational data and metrics to assess the health, alignment, growth, and profitability of customer relationships.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Strategic Account Executives on overlapping infrastructure initiatives.
• Advocate for and market solutions, define business models, and ensure a cohesive customer experience with GE Vernova.
• Travel as necessary, which may range from 30% to 75% of the time.
• A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least 10 years of additional experience in direct sales/commercial, marketing, account management, or other customer/supplier-facing roles in EPC or end user contexts.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience within the energy, power generation, and/or renewables sectors.
• Strong financial management capabilities.
• Understanding of market economics and the competitive landscape.
• In-depth knowledge of the energy sector, including production, transmission, storage, and consumption of energy.
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining cross-business relationships at various levels within GEV.
• Ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
• Successful history in developing and sustaining effective relationships with C-suite customers.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, presentation, and communication skills.
• Experience in team leadership.
• Proven capability to develop and execute a business strategy or blueprint.
• Proficiency in speaking and interacting in the local language of the customer.
• Willingness and ability to travel 30% to 75% of the time.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• An advanced degree or MBA is preferred.
• Located in North America near a major airport or open to relocation is preferred.
• Experience in leading account teams for key customers with diverse product portfolios is desirable.
