This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Create and implement targeted growth strategies across various DWP business units, directorates, and priority sectors.
• Initiate and develop a pipeline of qualified opportunities from initial engagement to procurement.
• Establish and nurture senior-level relationships within DWP directorates, encompassing policy, commercial, operational, and digital functions.
• Spearhead the collaborative design of client-centered, outcome-driven solutions and service offerings.
• Convert DWP priorities into distinct propositions that enhance service delivery, transformation, and citizen outcomes.
• Leverage market insights to guide win strategies, partnership decisions, and competitive positioning.
• Play a key role in Capita’s future expansion within DWP.
• Assist in identifying new opportunities and crafting solutions that promote meaningful results for citizens.
• Operate within Capita’s central Growth Function alongside sales, commercial, solution, and delivery experts.
• Proven experience in securing new business within DWP or a similar department of comparable size and complexity.
• In-depth knowledge of DWP's organizational structure, funding models, and procurement processes.
• Experience in selling across diverse DWP business areas, such as employment, health, digital, or corporate services.
• Ability to demonstrate prior success in delivering similar projects within central government settings.
• Senior-level capability in business development or market development, with experience in originating opportunities and developing pipelines.
• Competence in managing multiple workstreams independently and proactively operating at a director level.
• Existing senior-level connections within DWP or closely related DWP stakeholder environments (desirable).
• Background in professional services, consultancy, or public sector advisory roles, with significant exposure to DWP programs, priorities, or transformation initiatives (desirable).
