Market Data Reporting Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Supervise comprehensive analysis of data files and communicate with state contacts to ensure precision, timely uploads, and high standards of quality.

• Collect and document state-specific information regarding processes for managing MIS data along with associated biographic and demographic information.

• Offer system support and analysis, monitor ongoing status, ensure readers are operational, generate data, and adjust data files as necessary.

• Collaborate with common archive developers to address coding challenges, test data irregularities, and uphold data integrity.

• Evaluate errors and data discrepancies through the use of internally developed applications, raw data file assessments, and SQL queries.

• Execute assigned tasks in accordance with guidelines and established practices.

• Work in partnership with colleagues, supervisors, project leaders, and other professionals to cultivate stable working relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree with 2–5 years of relevant experience in a corresponding role, demonstrating progressive professional growth, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Preferred experience in statutory accounting and reporting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/365, Slack, and SQL.

• Capability to analyze data files, errors, anomalies, and inconsistencies.

• Ability to independently construct simple and complex SQL queries.

• Must reside within a 100-mile radius of the Kansas City office.

• Must possess authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship for employment is not available.

• Must be able and willing to travel frequently out of state and for overnight trips across the United States.
