This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Uphold GM's Core Values and Cultural Priorities.
• Lead and supervise assigned Inside and Outside Sales Representatives.
• Engage collaboratively with the Wholesale Market Area Manager.
• Achieve designated sales targets.
• Enhance and expand sales volume across all makes and models for the designated territory.
• Generate orders at the Direct Account level by establishing inventories and requesting line additions and changeovers through LEEP and stocklift budgets.
• Assist in promoting ACDelco products and programs at both Direct and National Accounts.
• Identify and cultivate sales opportunities in the Independent Aftermarket, including Fleet.
• Seek out new distribution opportunities to boost ACDelco market presence.
• Enhance engagement for Direct Account Outside and Inside Sales Representatives.
• Collaborate with Direct Accounts to utilize the marketing budget for creating and executing local promotions.
• Sell national, regional, and local programs effectively.
• Ensure Direct Account adherence to ACDelco policies and procedures through clear communication.
• Perform weekly updates, administrative tasks, special projects, and leadership requests related to competitive products, market conditions, and distribution activities.
• Provide market insights for forecasting and business planning initiatives.
• Coordinate both internal and external customer feedback to comprehend customer needs and perceptions.
• Maintain up-to-date customer profiles and records.
• Attend conventions, special events, and trade shows as required.
• Support customer training initiatives.
• Stay informed about product developments and market trends.
• Foster a productive relationship with ACDelco PDCs.
• Oversee warranty reduction initiatives and manage material returns/core credit activities, acting as a liaison between customers and ACDelco.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Preferred 3+ years of experience in automotive aftermarket or outside sales.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively to capitalize on opportunities.
• Strong skills in customer relations and sales.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Business acumen with the ability to identify new business prospects.
• Capability to convey product line features and advantages.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing action plans.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.
• Familiarity with OEM parts systems.
• Proficient in computer software, including MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, up to 75% of the time.
• Must currently live within the territory or be prepared to relocate to Washington or an area approved by leadership within 60 days of the start date.
• Must be legally eligible to operate a motor vehicle regularly and successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review.
• Must not need GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
