This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Lead production efforts for an assigned Marathon team, ensuring that objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables are well-defined and attainable.
• Develop and uphold production plans, milestone schedules, backlogs, and status reports.
• Enhance communication, collaboration, and decision-making across various disciplines, teams, and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress against project timelines, budgets, staffing expectations, and release or milestone commitments.
• Identify risks, uncertainties, blockers, and inter-team dependencies; formulate mitigation strategies and escalate issues when alignment with leadership is necessary.
• Maintain a comprehensive plan of record and communicate any changes, decisions, trade-offs, and concerns.
• Organize planning meetings, team rituals, reviews, and collaborative sessions; ensure that action items are executed.
• Collaborate with creative and technical leaders to achieve consensus, resolve conflicts, and keep projects moving towards shared objectives.
• Assist in content and feature evaluation by helping to set goals, metrics, checkpoints, and feedback mechanisms.
• Foster healthy production workflows and consistently enhance processes to boost velocity, collaboration, and visibility.
• Leverage automation, systematization, and centralized information to minimize operational overhead and enhance decision-making.
• Operate independently, apply sound judgment, and adapt production practices to meet the needs of the team and project.
• Adhere to Bungie and Marathon policies, security protocols, and working agreements relevant to a CSG role.
• Professional background in game production, project management, or a similar role supporting intricate creative and technical endeavors.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including creative, design, engineering, art, testing, or user research.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to identify issues, clarify ambiguity, and drive effective solutions.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to resolve misalignments constructively.
• Capacity to remain focused, composed, and results-driven under pressure.
• Ability to self-motivate, build trust, and inspire others without formal authority.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, or equivalent platforms.
• Ability to operate within confidentiality, information security, and non-disclosure requirements.
• Preferred: Experience in producing internal development for a AAA game or another large-scale interactive entertainment product.
• Preferred: Experience completing at least one full game development cycle or multiple intricate production cycles.
• Preferred: Experience supporting multiplayer, live-service, extraction, survival, or systems-driven games.
• Preferred: Knowledge of complex, multidisciplinary content pipelines and game development workflows.
• Preferred: Experience working with external partners, vendors, or distributed development teams.
• Preferred: Deep familiarity with Jira workflows, dashboards, reporting, and backlog management.
• Preferred: Passion for games and a strong interest in enhancing Marathon’s player experience.
