Manufacturing & PJM Business Analyst – Schedule to Produce/Store to Move

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Lead and assist in the implementation of Taylor’s Oracle system while contributing to the comprehensive design of Oracle (Horizon).

• Engage in the system development lifecycle, covering testing, implementation, enhancements, and ongoing support.

• Oversee and maintain the configuration of Oracle and PJM applications, ensuring a clear understanding of upstream and downstream effects.

• Analyze and resolve ERP functional challenges while effectively communicating with business units.

• Spearhead the Quarterly Release process by collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to test functionalities and secure approvals.

• Manage the provisioning of user access to applications.

• Assess operational procedures alongside Business Subject Matter Experts, pinpointing areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.

• Interpret requirements between business sectors and IT.

• Act as a bridge between business end users and IT development teams regarding configuration, testing, and maintenance.

• Develop use cases, process flows, prototypes, test cases, and testing scenarios.

• Lead or take part in testing activities, crafting test scripts and cases, and contributing to testing plans.

• Oversee the tracking and reporting of testing defects.

• Facilitate testing for Oracle Quarterly releases and communicate updates to business units.

• Educate and support Business SMEs on enhancements and updates for Oracle or PJM.

• Provide Level 1 and 2 support to resolve Help Desk issues.

• Assist in troubleshooting errors related to integrations and workflows.

• Develop and manage a plant assessment initiative across the Horizon platform.

• Experience with PJM.

• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion.

• Comfortable engaging with new individuals and seeking information.

• A creative and detail-oriented mindset.

• Capability to act as a change agent and challenge existing norms.

• Knowledge in designing and developing business processes and their technological connections.

• Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Willingness to travel within the US up to 25% of the time.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.

• Over 5 years of Business Analyst experience is preferred, particularly with Oracle technology or Shop Floor systems.

• Experience with Oracle technology in Manufacturing & Quality is preferred.
