Manufacturing Engineer – Remote Midwest with Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Plan, identify, supervise equipment layout, and implement strategies to enhance plant efficiency

• Conduct operational analyses to optimize workflow and spatial utilization

• Develop and execute plant process technology to reduce variation and enhance manufacturing, workflow, cell design, and facility layout

• Evaluate equipment layout, cell design, plant setup, workflow, assembly techniques, and workforce utilization to eliminate bottlenecks

• Assist technical teams with root cause analysis for equipment downtime

• Offer technical expertise concerning product quality

• Provide technical guidance and support for advancements in equipment and tools

• Enhance product design and manufacturing quality while reducing costs

• Facilitate and implement continuous improvement initiatives

• Conduct time studies to maximize production capabilities

• Manage and lead capital improvement projects within the plant

• Act as a technical resource for internal plants and contract molders during mold relocation processes

• Perform additional duties as required

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Plastics Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering

• 3 years of pertinent work experience

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks

• Experience with Structural Foam

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%

• Valid driver's license

• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report
