
Manufacturing Engineer β Remote Midwest with Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Plan, identify, supervise equipment layout, and implement strategies to enhance plant efficiency
β’ Conduct operational analyses to optimize workflow and spatial utilization
β’ Develop and execute plant process technology to reduce variation and enhance manufacturing, workflow, cell design, and facility layout
β’ Evaluate equipment layout, cell design, plant setup, workflow, assembly techniques, and workforce utilization to eliminate bottlenecks
β’ Assist technical teams with root cause analysis for equipment downtime
β’ Offer technical expertise concerning product quality
β’ Provide technical guidance and support for advancements in equipment and tools
β’ Enhance product design and manufacturing quality while reducing costs
β’ Facilitate and implement continuous improvement initiatives
β’ Conduct time studies to maximize production capabilities
β’ Manage and lead capital improvement projects within the plant
β’ Act as a technical resource for internal plants and contract molders during mold relocation processes
β’ Perform additional duties as required
β’ Bachelor's Degree in Plastics Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
β’ 3 years of pertinent work experience
β’ Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
β’ Experience with Structural Foam
β’ Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
β’ Valid driver's license
β’ Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report
