Manufacturing Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Conduct Engineering Part Analysis (EPAs)

• Carry out Transition Design Reviews (TDRs)

• Determine export requirements

• Examine engineering drawings for content, notes, accuracy, legibility, and other significant observations

• Assess the challenges of transitioning suppliers and identify potential obstacles

• Research and implement source-controlled parts for compliant alternatives

• Track drawing updates and approvals in the PLM tool

• Oversee and report on project timelines, budget, and priorities

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure data is collected and prepared for presentation to chief engineering personnel

• Guarantee that EPA and TDR milestones are achieved

• Provide guidance to team members and assist with the creation of presentations

• Conduct internal and technical reviews to ensure the quality of deliverables

• Update project status during regular internal and external meetings, including status reports, assumptions, information required, and overall program health

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience

• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience

• Ability to interpret and understand part drawings

• Knowledge of engineering mechanics and material strength

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Familiarity with or interest in the aerospace industry is preferred

• Experience with EWI/Rich Client is an advantage

• Proficiency in Teamcenter and SAP is valued

• Experience with product supplier transitions is a plus

• Previous leadership experience is beneficial

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong business management and development skills

• Team, management, and organizational abilities

• Capability to convey technical information clearly and simply

• Ability to function effectively as a team member in a technical project setting

• Must be self-motivated and able to think creatively
