This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as a senior consultant to healthcare executives, physician leaders, boards of directors, and investors regarding physician enterprise strategy, provider alignment, and organizational transformation.
• Oversee consulting projects that focus on physician compensation design, medical group strategy, provider network development, performance excellence, and initiatives for provider growth.
• Provide guidance to clients on physician alignment models, governance frameworks, partnership strategies, affiliations, joint ventures, and merger and acquisition prospects.
• Formulate strategic recommendations aimed at enhancing provider performance, patient access, operational efficiency, financial results, and market positioning.
• Lead executive workshops, physician leadership forums, board retreats, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Partner with Strategy, Transaction Advisory, Valuation, Compensation, and Compliance teams to offer cohesive client solutions.
• Drive the growth and expansion of the Physician Enterprise service line through business development, client relationship management, thought leadership, and market engagement activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with health system executives, physician leaders, board members, private equity stakeholders, and other key industry decision-makers.
• Identify new market opportunities and create innovative service offerings, methodologies, and intellectual capital.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop consulting professionals while promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Ensure outstanding client service, project quality, and financial performance across all projects and client relationships.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 12 years of progressive experience in healthcare consulting, physician enterprise leadership, health system strategy, medical group leadership, corporate development, or a related advisory field in healthcare.
• Proven expertise in physician enterprise strategy, physician alignment, physician compensation, medical group transformation, provider growth, or healthcare performance enhancement.
• Extensive experience collaborating with hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, or private equity-backed healthcare organizations.
• Demonstrated success in leading executive-level consulting projects and providing advice to C-suite executives, physician leaders, and boards of directors.
• Proven capability to build trusted client relationships, generate new business opportunities, and contribute to revenue growth.
• In-depth knowledge of physician compensation design, provider network strategy, medical group operations, and healthcare growth strategies.
• Exceptional skills in strategic thinking, financial analysis, analytical problem-solving, communication, and presentation.
• Ability to influence senior healthcare stakeholders, including executives, physician leaders, investors, and board members.
• Willingness to travel as required by client and business needs.
• Preferred: An MBA, MHA, MPH, MD, DO, or other relevant advanced degree.
• Preferred: Experience in building, leading, or scaling a consulting practice, service line, physician enterprise function, or healthcare business unit.
• Preferred: Prior experience with a leading healthcare consulting, strategy, or advisory firm.
• Preferred: Background as a physician, clinician, or healthcare executive leader.
• Preferred: Experience advising organizations on strategic partnerships, affiliations, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, or enterprise integration efforts.
• Preferred: Familiarity with value-based care models, payer-provider alignment strategies, and risk-based reimbursement systems.
• Preferred: A well-established professional network within the healthcare provider, physician enterprise, or healthcare investor community.
• Preferred: Demonstrated thought leadership through speaking engagements, publications, industry involvement, or the development of market-facing content.
